Sep 02, 2025Bartacks are essential for reinforcing high-stress areas like belt loops, pocket corners, and slits on garments. BERNINA machines offer specialized programs to create perfect bartacks and decorative fly stitches with ease:
- Bartack Program #24: Produces a straight-stitched rectangle with narrow zigzag stitches, ideal for belt loops and pocket corners.
- Bartack Program #25: Creates tightly spaced zigzag stitches, perfect for reinforcing pocket openings, seam ends, and shortened zippers.
- Fly Stitch Programs (#26 and #27): Decorative bartacks for stress areas on garments, bags, and more. Program #27 offers a narrow stitch, while #26 provides a wider option.
For optimal results, use Open Embroidery Foot #20C for clear visibility and position your fabric before stitching. Each program automatically stops when the stitch is complete.
