B 990 Colors Function Part 4: Color Wheel Change Single Color
If you love customizing your embroidery palette down to the tiniest detail, the B 990’s Color Wheel is your new favorite tool. In Part 5 of our Colors Function series, we’re diving into how to adjust hue and brightness to get your thread colors just right.
Precision Color Control at Your Fingertips
Once the Color Wheel is open, you can modify individual thread colors with ease:
- The Color Bar at the top displays all the colors in your design. The selected color is highlighted in blue.
- A node appears on the wheel with a blue circle around it, marking the currently selected color.
Move the Node, Watch the Magic
Using your stylus or finger, drag the node to a new spot on the wheel:
- Instantly see how the color changes in the embroidery preview area and the Color Bar.
- The thread color number updates in real time, so you always know what shade you’re working with.
Brightness Slider: Lighten or Darken with Ease
Want to tweak the intensity of your selected color?
- Use the Brightness slider just below the wheel.
- Slide right to lighten the color.
- Slide left to darken it.
This is perfect for subtle shifts—like softening a bold hue or deepening a pastel for better contrast.
