B 990 Colors Function Part 3: Selecting Individual Colors

Whether you're fine-tuning a floral design or swapping out shades to match your favorite thread brand, editing individual colors in your embroidery design is a breeze once you know where to tap. Here's a quick guide to help you navigate to various colors in your design. 

Method 1: Use the Up and Down Arrows

Want to scroll through your design’s colors one by one? Start by selecting a color from the Design Colors Menu and tapping on the Change Thread Color icon for that color. This opens up that specific color and reveals up and down arrows that let you move through the entire color sequence.

• Tap the down arrow to jump to a different color.
• Once selected, you can modify the thread color and brand for that color.
• The stitch preview area updates in real time, so you can see exactly how your changes will look before stitching.

This method is perfect for precision editing—especially when you’re working through a design with multiple color stops.

Method 2: Tap Directly on the Design

Prefer a more visual approach? You can also tap directly on any part of the embroidery design in the Stitch Preview Area to select and edit its color.

• Tap a color or a part of the embroidery design directly on the touch screen in the Stitch Preview Area.
• The color or part of the design will be highlighted.
• From there, you can preview and change the color to suit your style or thread stash.

This intuitive method is great for stitchers who like to work visually and make quick adjustments on the fly.

Resetting to Default Colors

Made a few changes but want to go back to the original palette? No problem. Just tap the Back to Default icon to restore the design’s default thread colors.

With these easy methods, you can personalize your embroidery projects down to the last stitch. Whether you're matching a garment, coordinating with fabric, or just having fun with color, the power to customize is right at your fingertips.
